Our Future

I want to wake up every day helping someone. During the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020, many resources were quickly created to help people during the crises that should continue to exist. The help was always available due to budgets existing for resources, but it took a pandemic to happen for them to exist. There shouldn’t be another outbreak, let alone death, to make resources available. Every day in the future, I want to make sure I am doing what I can to revise and create policies that will help everyone. A day-to-day for me would be me getting up for meetings with different people in charge of different institutions that help create society. These institutions are schools, hospitals, and recreational centers just to name some. There are always people who need their voice heard telling us what needs to be better and what needs to be fixed so the world can be a better place. I don’t think this can happen overnight, but I know if I constantly wake up every day helping someone, even if it’s offering a listening ear, I can go to sleep well. I would also want to travel to places that need help. I don’t want to be behind a desk all day solving problems because it won’t feel as important if I’m not there. It also gets people from communities to understand that I am present, not only there, but present, and show everyone that I honestly care about that as much as I say it.
