the list goes on

anyways, sometimes when the troubles of today

seep into my mind, messing with my tomorrow

i gotta just hit play and step into yesterday

it helps me cling onto my sanity

it helps me hold off my struggles

find that peace of mine

and when it’s time to step back to reality

i just take that shit in small doses

one step at a time

cuz i can’t care for myself and the world 24/7

that’s exhausting

gotta do what i gotta do

gotta care bout myself

and my state of mind
