Abuela

My hero during the pandemic is easily my grandmother. At the first moment of the worldwide pandemic, she always did her best to help me. Last year, I really wanted to plant a watermelon out of season. Watermelons take a long time to grow and I was a bit late trying to grow it. This year, she made sure I planted the produce earlier than I did before. As of now, I have peppers, squash, watermelons, and cantaloupe all growing in my backyard. The planting has kept my mind away from the virus concern and really keeps me sane. She has also been a huge help with the idea of my buying new fish tanks. I love my grandmother with all of my heart and cherish all that she does for my family and me. One day, when I get old and all my hair is gray, I hope I can inspire the youth as my abuela inspires me.
