Join us virtually for a lively dialogue between mother and son authors Hena Khan and Bilal Saleem . Hena Khan is an award-winning author of 20+ books for young people, and her son Bilal co-authored two Shout Mouse Press books, including our most recent release What it Costs Us. This conversation will touch on their writing processes, how they inspire each other's work, and their journeys to authordom.

Noon-4pm at Planet Word

Join us for our launch event where we’ll celebrate reading and diverse books in a fun daytime event for all ages. This event will feature a book fair, a writing workshop, and a panel discussion on banned books moderated by Glory Edim of Well Read Black Girl. Full description and RSVP details found here.
