Shout Mouse Press authors write about their lived experiences: the joys, the challenges, and how they imagine a more just and inclusive world. Thanks to the support of our donors, we are able to continue our Writing Workshop, Publishing, Author Talks, and Author Pathways programs that ensure these critical youth voices are valued and accessible. Our authors are Black, Latinx, immigrant, Muslim, low-income, incarcerated or formerly incarcerated, of other marginalized identities, and all the intersections therein. An investment in Shout Mouse Press supports our growing network of 500+ authors with the tools and platform to ensure their voices are heard.
Ways To Give
Donations from individuals allow us to expand every aspect of our work. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to coach young people to write and publish diverse and inclusive books, donate books to readers in need, and continue providing professional development opportunities and support to the 500+ authors from marginalized communities in our network.
