The first two weeks 
This is all new 
No school 
No work 
No metro 
No friends 
This is basically a whole life 
Let’s not pretend 

The first two weeks 
Constantly on my phone 
Constantly checking my email 
Being stuck in the house all day 
Seems a little like jail 

The first two weeks 
Getting up at any time 
On social media all day 
Not having to spend a dime

The first two weeks 
I don’t know if I like it 
Or if i don’t 
This is start to something new 
But hopefully it doesn’t last long

Or until I’m grown
