Joy During Quarantine

Joy During Quarantine
by Marlow

The forms of joy and excitement during this time are few and far between but that still does not hinder me from enjoying activities such as working on cardio every day on the treadmill. Exercise is one of the few ways to break the confinement that I find myself in and it helps to take a brisk walk, run, and or stroll through the neighborhood and enjoy the air. Another great way that I manage to find joy during this time would be through a game I rediscovered by the name of 'Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic'. 'Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic' is a major online game that was launched in 2011 and I recently returned to playing to find another way to keep time moving forward and let me tell you it has been a blast returning. I recently finished leveling my character by the name of Gyrlov who is an Inquisitor who I have been working on for forever.

Gyrlov didn't have the experience to get to level seventy five but this week I managed to make to max out the character, which allows him to gain renown points and dark side tokens for purchasing amazing armor sets, pets and weapons that make my character much more of challenge for other players and non-playable characters that would dare cross my path and stand against the Sith Empire. Forgive my nerdiness, but the Imperial side of the game is a blast and is on fifteen dollars a month, but it’s free to play but with heavy restrictions which was me a while back yonder. The last way I manage to find joy during the COVID times are catching up on shows on Netflix such as 'Ozark', which is a better version of 'Better Call Saul' and is worth a binge or two.
