Soccer is a passion that connects both of us,

It’s amazing to see you practicing to get better, 

The field is our happy place no matter the weather,

You know I get there early even when I have to take the bus. 

I am glad that I met you because you are my motivation,

You never stop playing even when you are exhausted or upset,

I want you to know that you are the person I always wanted to meet,

We enjoy being teammates of a sport that requires dedication.

Through time, I became more close to you,

Now I miss playing and laughing with our teammates,

I miss seeing you or somebody score and celebrate, 

The ball is a beautiful creation for me and I know it’s for you too.

We follow one love, one dream, and one passion,

We dedicate our time, our effort, and our life, 

And if we have to fight, the ball would be our knife, 

And our soccer uniforms will never be out of fashion. 

We find happiness in sports, some people find it in art,

Chris I believe you will become a professional player,

For me you are a motivation and a hero without a layer, 

I admire you because soccer is in your blood and heart.
