5 Affirmations

  1. Through all of the trials and tribulations, you are driven nonstop to prevail into the next chapter of your journey. 

    1. There are so many things that have occurred in my life that were intense enough to break me.

      1. I decided to continue, and I found peace & purpose in the journey that was destined for me.

  2. Keeping yourself afloat, you are also an anchor for those in need of mental stability. 

    1. Even though I may have underlying issues it does not deter me away from supporting others.

      1. I love being a support system for others, and I know how vital it can be in times of need.

  3. Having self-awareness is key in trying to figure out who you are, without others needing to voice their opinion on your character. This is one thing that you hold dearly to your heart because truly knowing yourself is as important as knowing how to tie your shoe.

    1. I referenced it to tying your shoe because no one wants to constantly rely on others to tie their shoe for them. Soon those around will grow tiresome from bending over and tying it. If you fail to learn, you will have to walk with your shoes untied and you will soon trip over the laces. 

      1. No one should have to continuously rely on others to tell them about their character, motives, or behaviors.

      2. It is important to be able to pull yourself up on the things you do wrong

        1. Or else you will fall waiting around for others to assist.

    2. Self-awareness is very important, especially in today’s society where EVERYONE is held accountable for their own actions.

    3. I have managed to comprehend the significance of this and have learned when it is time to enable its components.

  4. The creativity that you hold speaks volumes in a room of pitch-blackness and silence. You are able to provide optimistic and steam brilliance out the holes of an idea.

    1. The creativity that I have gained from journaling.

      1. I was able to transport the thoughts that filled my head onto a single paper.

        1. I found power in doing that and I found a way to escape.

    2. Many things that I have achieved in life have been a result of my creativity, and that is something that I hold close to my heart.

  5. This is not the final phase, there are higher heights for you to achieve. You can only progress and every day holds the ability for there to be something new in-store.

    1. Optimism is one of my favorite words, I use it whenever things seem to be a little rough for me; or if someone else loses their momentum. 

      1. This word is one of the reasons that I have prevailed through so much.

      2. It has forced me to maintain a positive outlook on my life.

      3. Although, I always see everything for what it truly is, whether good or bad. I also remain grounded on the fact that things will get better!
