Sarai Johnson is a 2014 graduate of Howard University, where she earned a BA in Print/Online Journalism and minored in English. She also holds an MA in Literature from American University and teaches College Writing there. Sarai has worked for several newspapers and magazines including The Indianapolis Star, DC Modern Luxury, and the Alexandria Gazette. She loves writing creative nonfiction and fiction, and reading everything. Her favorite authors are Haruki Murakami, Lorraine Hansberry and the writers who work with Shout Mouse.
