Vegetarian Fun (Fried Mushrooms)

I am a vegetarian and I often like to try different things, open my palette to new things, and introduce others to healthier alternatives. One of my favorite foods to cook is our fried mushrooms. I have definitely made them a couple of times over this quarantine. It is also a family and friend favorite. 

Fried Mushrooms ( very delicious) 

Cook Time 15 - 25 minutes 

Pairs well with rice, side salad 

Ingredients: 

  1. Mushroom of choice 

  2. Egg

  3. Flour 

  4. Seasoning ( pepper, garlic salt, obey, cayenne pepper, brown sugar) 

  5. Or seasoning of choice 

  6. Olive oil 

Steps: 

  1. Clean mushrooms 

  2. Crack eggs into a bowl to be an adhesive for the flour mixture

  3. Dip mushrooms in eggs 

  4. Create batter mixture with seasonings and flour 

  5. After dipping mushrooms in egg; Dip in flour mixture 

  6. Fry mushrooms in a medium size pan with oil; on medium to high temperature 

  7. Fry until golden brown 

  8. Take out of pan to chill 

  9. They are now ready to eat! Enjoy!!
