Coping with the stress of this pandemic was hard to figure out at first. I realized that is because I tried a lot at once when I should have worked on one thing at a time. What helps me may or may not help you, but you should still try it. I listen to a variety of music. You can just listen to rough sounds, but sometimes your brain needs soothing sounds. Songs like Jhené Aiko’s “Pray For You,” and Marty Woodson “Sunday,” even other songs like “Sunday Candy” by Chance The Rapper all have soft melodies.

I also exercise. No, I am not a professional, but doing something that keeps your body moving and the blood flowing is all you need. I go on trail walks, take runs around my complex, as well as stretch. I do this just to get the blood flowing in my body.

Thirdly, I try new dishes to cook --Yes! From smoothies to desserts, to breakfast to dinner. I look up recipes online, so when all of this is over I can probably be a chef lol. Lastly, I paint and draw. I have these blank canvases that I sketch on, and now I’m painting. I do all these things, but don’t rush into everything at the same time. You should relax with it, especially if it’s new.
