( Keep in mind that this would be a medical program for kids who want to be in the medical field while in high school, as I did ) I am highly engrossed in this program as well as this opportunity. I say this because I’ve always had a thing for those who work in the medical field. I’ve always had a huge heart, so I love to assist people. I’m always learning about basic medical conditions and how I can help those suffering. I research things like how I can render aid to those in need if they are in an emergency. Having this opportunity has me mind-boggled because I come from nothing, so although I pray for the best I always expect the worse. I’ve been trying to get a small medical internship since I first started high school, but obviously I was too young. My ideas, my mind, my career, and my dreams are all older than my age. Having the opportunity to fulfill this position would be a step closer into my journey. I want to be a neonatologist because I love children. During my free time, I watch videos of a-day-in-the-life in the NIC-U. Wow! By having this opportunity, young students would get started with their journey right away. I have long-term goals for this medical addiction, so it’s best I start working on them now.
