Feel, Understand and Relate

by Rose McKoy

“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.” For me, writing is to let my emotions and my feelings out. I write to let my heart out eventually for people to read it and get a deeper message. Although I do not have a particular audience of people who read my craft. My perspective audience is to those who can feel, understand, and relate to my story's. I feel like those who can understand, feel, and relate have been through similar things that I have. Also, I can have a connection with my audience. For me, this is important because I know there are many people in the world that have similar stories as me and my goal is for us to get together one day to help build each other up and talk about those stories. When I tell my stories I strive to save humanity and the sake of feelings. I want people to know is that feelings do exist and that we humans still have them and its okay to express and relate to them. To conclude, an audience who can understand, feel, and relate is an audience that will stick around and listen to your stories.
