Heyy Siri, Play Music!

Heyy Siri, Play Music!
By: Najae

My playlist consists of a variety of artists. They all give me a different vibe. I listen to music whenever I just need to self reflect. Music keeps my mind in a constant flow of thoughts!
“Say yes” by Floetry
When listening to this sound it reminds me of how, sometimes, simple things can be hard. It reminds me of the old times. Floetry, overall, keeps me in touch with wisdom. The song all together is really relatable and understanding.
“The Matrimony” by Wale
When listening to this sound it reminds me of the past. I used to listen to this sound when I was young. It reminds me of the good times and happiness. Also, Wale, as an artist, is really chill, so it keeps me sane.
“Ex-factor” by Lauryn Hill
When listening to this song it makes me feel a lot of self appreciation. It talks about loving hard and being unappreciated. This song just reminds me that not everyone deserves your love, how promises can be made and not kept. Also, I love her vocals in this song overall.
“Session 32” by Summer Walker
When listening to this song it reminds me of love.
The power of love and the pain that it can cause. It also talks about moving on, and being alone. However, I really like the song, and can’t help but sing a lot to the song.
“Inglewood High” D Smoke
When listening to this song it reminds me of craft. D Smoke as an artist is really different from typical rappers, he is more of a lyricist. This song gives me a vibe of Individuality/uniqueness. The song also makes me reflect on high school and all my choices.
“On & On” by Erykah Badu
When listening to this song it helps me to concentrate. This is a good song that keeps my brain flowing. Erykah Badu generally brings the calmness out of me.
